Weather Boy's forecast for Monday, April 4, 2005

OK, let’s get back to the reason for this blog. When I asked Weather Boy last night if it was going to be sunny or cloudy, he confidently said cloudy. Not believing him, I put him in shorts and a long sleeve shirt. Of course, right now it is cloudy, and the clouds aren’t white and puffy, but dark and rain filled. I left a jacket in Weather Boy’s cubby, but hopefully he won’t need it.

The picture is of Weather Boy running down a little “stream” from our trip to San V Lake this weekend. We took the boat out on Sunday with V and Elle. Weather Boy’s dad docked the boat on a little sand bar, and we jumped out to play in the little stream flowing into the lake. The lake is almost at capacity, which is something I don’t remember seeing for over 10 years. Even though it hasn’t rained in a couple weeks, the water is still trickling in. Weather Boy had fun putting leaves in the stream and watching them ride the rapids to the lake.
