We enjoyed a day at the zoo on Sunday. We mixed up our normal tour and headed first to see the camels, gazelles, and giraffes. Weather Boy's dad and I had a good walk around and stopped for a while to visit the polar bears. We rode the Skyfaria back to our normal starting point and went thru the Children's Zoo and the turtles. Weather Boy's dad caught a "feeder" lizard, we brought it home. We have been keeping him in the aquarium that came with Weather Boy's Bug Vacuum. He didn't eat the meal worms we gave him, so Weather Boy and his dad bought some small crickets on Thursday. They watched him eat five right in front of their eyes.
On Saturday, we had fun at Colton M's 1st birthday party. It was a little cold, but managable. Weather Boy had fun on the play ground and Drewbie didn't eat that much sand. I'd say it was a successful day!
We had horrible luck with dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. The service we received was unimaginable. We aren't going out to eat for a while.
