Third soccer games of 2009

Drewbie was selected to be goalie last week, and he did such a great job, he played goalie the whole game. He wasn't afraid to get "in the mix" and try to get the ball when the other team was trying to score.

Dad worked with him at practice to teach him how to get the ball, run to the corner of the goalie box, and throw it to his teammates. When he did this during the game, the other team wasn't ready. We are very proud of him!






























Weather Boy had a great game also. He played a lot of defense, which really helped the team. He seemed a little bored back there, though. His team scored a lot of goals in the second half when it was really hot. Weather Boy really loves playing soccer, and we are proud of him, too!
