White Sox Game 1

Weather Boy was under the... weather last week so he didn't get to face the pitching machine at Monday's practice. He had a game on Saturday and faced the pitching machine for the first time, and did excellent. He hit the ball from the machine and never had to use the tee. He just went up to the plate and when for it. Love it!

Tee ball

The annual spring tradition has begun. The grass is growing long and the days longer. Dust off that glove - it's time for tee ball!

Weather Boy is with the Sox this year. Games start next week. Weather Boy is in a league where he faces a pitching machine for the first 7 pitches and then if he doesn't hit the ball, he gets to hit it off the tee. Tomorrow is their first practice with the pitching machine. I'm sure we'll have some excitement after practice to discuss.

P.S. Weather Boy's dad asked Weather Boy when the Jog-A-Thon at school is. Drewbie answered before Weather Boy could and said, "It's not a jog-a-thon," and repeated himself several times. Finally, Weather Boy's dad asked him what it was called then, and he said, very seriously, "It's called a python." :-)

Baseball, Lizard, and Frog Fun

Grandma and Papa M bought Weather Boy this fun toy after he shagged balls for it on a recent beach trip. Weather Boy is really good at hitting the ball.










































I caught a lizard for the boys and this is a shot we got before Drewbie accidently let it go.
