Mother's Day

In addition to the beautiful pot painted by Weather Boy at school, I received a boquet of flowers and cards from the guys. We headed down to PB for breakfast burritos and had an improptu time at the beach.

Playing in the waves Keep on truckin'!We decided to head down towards the water after eating, and before we knew it, Weather Boy was down to his diaper and playing in the sand and water (yes, we put sunscreen on him). Drewbie stayed in his pant suit most of the time, but this didn't stop him from eating sand and splashing in the water. Weather Boy's dad and I resolved that we were going to make a proper day of the beach some time soon since the guys had so much fun.

Edie and Weather boy After naps, we headed over to the Grandma and Papa L's house where the L side was gathering for Mother's Day and Uncle S and Drewbie's birthdays (which are on the same day). Weather Boy had a ball with his cousin, Edie, as always. Dinner consisted of ribs and fixings, which were great. Uncle J made some little custard-type deserts that were both cute and good eatin'.

Drewbie received some new cloths from various L's and a play set (helicopter, boat, and trucks) that Drewbie and Weather Boy are enjoying.

It was nice coming home Sunday night to relax after a fun packed weekend.
