Another super weekend!

Bates Nut FarmBack on the blog band wagon. Visited Nates Butt Farm :-) on Saturday with the M's. They took a bit longer getting there than we did so we had some time to explore the farm (plus stop at our favorite donut shop in Escondido for today's breakfast). Played on the big rock for a long time. The boys were sliding down it like a slide. Started to rip a hole in Weather Boy's jeans.

Bates Nut FarmThe M's oldest son, C, had a great time with Weather Boy and Drewbie. They ran around in the pumpkins and had a ball. Feed the farm animals, rode on a wagon pulled by mules, and had tri-tip sandwiches for lunch. Just as we were about to leave, it started to rain. Yes, folks, we had rain in Sandy Eggo this weekend and today is pretty cloudy. No biggie. Very nice to be cold instead of in hot, humid weather like in the summer.

Bates Nut FarmWeather Boy's dad and Grant M. use to go to the farm together as Indian Guides. Kinda cool to see the full circle of things.

Our favorite resturant, Julio's, closed recently, so we went to Chiquitas on Home Avenue last night. Love their chicken tacos.

Halloween 2006Got halloween costumes for the boys. Weather Boy wanted to be Batman, so Drewbie didn't have a choice and is Robin. We tell Drewbie he's a superhero, and he's very happy.

Blue Angels over our houseMiramar Air Show this weekend. Also known as the Insert-our-street-name-here Airshow. Blue Angels are always a highlight. If you think I'm joking about the Insert-our-street-name-here Airshow, this picture was taken in our cul-de-sac and that's our chimmney in the photo.

Have a great week!
