Made it!

After working a 60 hours work week (it's quarter end reporting time), I was looking forward to catching up on some sleep and having some fun with the boys. Even though I needed to, I skipped working from home Friday night and just chilled. Slept well and felt good.

ChandlerFriday night we were greeted with trick or treat baskets full of candy and the Great Pumpkin DVD from our neighbor, Chandler Bing. That's right, Chandler Bing from Friends lives up the street from us. He's a little white dog that owns our neighbors and comes to visit us on his own everyday. He hangs out for a while, barks at us, and if we aren't outside, scratches on our front door to get us to come out. Needless to say, the gift was very generous. They boys enjoyed the DVD.

Throwing toilet paper into the toilet gameSaturday we did a Costco run and then went to the carnival at our local elementary school. The boys wore their costumes and had fun playing the games. Weather Boy's dad was the master coordinator in getting the most prize tickets and the boys got a teddy bear each and a big soaker squirt gun for their work at the silly games in the blazing HOT day. Yup, it was 80ish degrees yesterday.

The boys went to Grandma and Papa L's to spend the night and Weather Boy's dad and I went out to dinner with the F's. We went to a restaurant in, what I like to refer to as, Northern California. Nice conversation and dinner. However... while I was sitting at the table, I knew dinner wasn't sitting right. Made it home but got nasty sick. I've been dragging all day today, trying to eat a little here in there to make sure it all stays put. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my weekend, but oh well. Might have to call the Health Dept. to let them know what happened.

Pumpkin StationWe went to Pumpkin Station today. Long time L family friends own it. Hadn't been yet, and we needed to go. Boys had fun on the rides. Drewbie was a little clingy, but had fun anyways.

BatMobileMaddie U received a Golf Cart for Christmas a few years back and she and her sisters out grew it and passed it along to us. The boys enjoy riding it while I have a heart attack and how fast the little sucker goes. Anywho, Weather Boy's dad is working on converting the golf cart into the Batmobile for Halloween night. Weather Boy's dad is so handy. I think it's going to look awesome. Painted it and now need to put the logo on it.

Crashing WitchPut the crashing witch up last weekend. Again, Weather Boy's dad did a great job. I think she still needs a cape (plastic garbage bag), but oh well. Next year. Turns out the one we always see around the corner that wasn't there last week, made it's way up on the street light this week. Still, it's cool that we have one, too. The O's daughter, E, loves to come down our street to look at the "friendly witch."

Signed up for an online scrapbook class that starts on Thursday. Looking forward to some creative fun and stress relief. Should be another long work week. Still trying to go part time. Hiring freeze at work, so now they are trying to find a consultant to be my new boss. Not holding my breath, especially since it's been 9 months of this.

Hope all is well with you. Have a great week!
