Happy Spring!

Spring has sprung here despite what the weather is like in other parts of this great country. Weather Boy had his opening weekend for t-ball, which included a parade of teams, pictures, and a huge jumpie obsticle course. Weather Boy's dad is the manager of the team and has been bogged down with a lot of administrative items as well as leading practices.

Their first game was this last weekend. Unfortunately, Weather Boy's dad couldn't attend due to a family event, and I forgot the camera. It was a pretty funny sight to see! Weather Boy made it to first on his first at bat, and when the next batter hit the ball, Weather Boy started running out to left field instead of second base. Oh well, there is just so much to remember for a little guy!

And yes, I realize that Weather Boy's team name is the archrivals of the Padres, but we still wholehardily cheer for them anyway. I do cringe a little when we are out and about and Weather Boy and Drewbie, the team mascot, want to wear their hats. It feels blasphamous for them to wear them, but we don't have a choice.
The picture where Weather Boy's dad is holding up his fingers, he's trying to entertain the boys while someone writes down their names in the order they appear. It worked!

Happy Monday!
