Drewbie's milestones

First Wave! As Weather Boy and I were leaving the house on Thursday, Weather Boy's dad and Drewbie watched us as we backed out of the driveway. Drewbie actually waved! His hand moved up and down, and he was smiling. He appears to have mastered the concept. It was a great way to start the day.

As Drewbie and I walked upstairs for the night, Drewbie enthusiastically waved to Weather Boy and his dad, again with the cutest little smile. Looks like we are moving on to bigger and better things. He has more of an interest in our food and is making the transition slowly away from milk and baby food. I'm very excited at the return of freedom this will be for me: back to normal clothes, normal lunch breaks, and the ability to be away from Drewbie for extended periods of time.

Squat standingDrewbie took two steps at Lori's house as Weather Boy's dad was picking him up for the day. He is starting to squat on his feet more and is starting to find that standing is pretty cool. The little guys knees probably can't take much more crawling on the concret driveway. Given summers approach (or arrival), he'll be in shorts more, so we need to protect his knees and get him walking.

Happy day!
