In my tired state yesterday, I forgot to metion that there was a fire close by my work and a few miles from the beach we were at. We watched two fire choppers picking up water from the lagoon (similar to what we saw last June at the lake by our house). They made a lot of pick ups of water. I am AMAZED at how close they get to the water. We saw two Cal Fire planes fly overhead on their way to help. Turns out the fire was knocked down before any damage to homes/structures. However, it will be sad to see the vegatation gone.
It's suppose to be hot againtoday. When Drewbie and I were leaving before 8:00 am this morning, it was already 77 degrees in the 'hood. Stay cool and happy Monday!
